The aim of our art lessons this half term has been to produce a piece of work depicting the Vikings crossing the sea in their longboats, ready to invade.
Sketching dragon heads for the front of a Viking Longboat.
Experimenting with colours to create the sea.
This afternoon, the children used their previous sketches of dragon heads and creations of the sea, to produce a larger piece of art work. They worked with a partner to produce a picture of a Viking Longboat at sea. Well done, Year 4!
This afternoon, Year 4 learned about Viking life. In order to learn about what the Vikings used to eat, they examined Viking poo! They found fish bones, apple pips, peas and grains used to make bread.
