Our response to Coronavirus

As a country, and a community, we all need to do what we can to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Scientific advice on how to further limit the spread of COVID-19 is clear and includes frequent handwashing, social distancing and self-isolation when symptoms are apparent.

During this period of lockdown we are required to Stay at home...

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home

Do not meet others, even friends or family.

You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.

If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading. That is why the government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools to remain open for childcare only for those children who absolutely need to attend.

We understand that some families may be in need of additional support during this difficult period. If you are struggling with anything at all – payments, feeding your family, mental health and well-being, parenting issues, etc. please do get in touch with us in school via email at

We shall try to help you, or at least, signpost you to the relevant and appropriate support service.
