Meanwood Valley Big Local Count

Are you looking for more ways to keep busy and do your bit for nature in Meanwood Valley?

Want to participate in your first online bioblitz from your garden, balcony or your front living room ?

If so, Ranger David Preston would like you to get a better understanding of wildlife species and take part in our Meanwood Valley - Big Local Count on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May 2020 !

Help them to record how many wildlife species are in your area, where you live.

All information collected will help better support species and habitats throughout the valley.

All you have to do is spend between 15 minutes to 1 hour recording any sighting of species. Simply record where you are and what the conditions were to help further their understanding.

Before you begin, you must register. Simply email David.Preston@leeds.gov.uk giving your full name and email address.
