Local wildlife Survey 22nd/23rd

The Meanwood Valley Big Local Count will take place on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May

It aims to help the rangers by asking you to record the different wildlife species you spot in your area.

Ranger David of Meanwood Valley wants families to participate in an online Bioblitz from your garden, balcony or living room.

All the information you provide will help the rangers better support species and habitats throughout Meanwood Valley.

All you have to do is spend 15 minutes to 1 hour recording any sightings of species, including your location and the conditions to further their understanding.

All the resources you will need are provided below. However you do need to register with Ranger David by emailing him and telling him you wish to participate MeanwoodValley.Ranger@leeds.gov.uk

With all the wildlife being very active at the moment it would be a great opportunity to take part.
